Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Difficulty : Easy

Serves : 2

Juicy chicken breasts marinated in lemon, garlic, and herbs, then pan-grilled.

Cooking Steps

  • 1
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  • 2
Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure it's well-coated. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours).
  • 3
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil.
  • 4
Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
