Cooking Steps
- 1In a small bowl, combine the water, yeast, and sugar and let it sit for about 10 minutes, until frothy.
- 2In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt and make a well in the center. Pour the yeast mixture and the oil into the well and stir to form a dough. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 15 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
- 3Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, until doubled in size.
- 4Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
- 5Punch down the dough and roll it out into a thin circle. Transfer it to the prepared baking sheet and spread the tomato sauce evenly over it. Sprinkle the spinach and the cheese over the sauce to taste.
- 6Bake the pizza for about 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden and crisp.
