Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of warm water
  • 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup of tomato sauce
  • 2 cups of fresh spinach, washed and chopped
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

This pizza is made with a thin and crispy crust, fresh spinach, shredded mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce.

Cooking Steps

    In a small bowl, combine the water, yeast, and sugar and let it sit for about 10 minutes, until frothy.

    In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt and make a well in the center. Pour the yeast mixture and the oil into the well and stir to form a dough. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 15 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

    Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, until doubled in size.

    Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced) and lightly grease a baking sheet.

    Punch down the dough and roll it out into a thin circle. Transfer it to the prepared baking sheet and spread the tomato sauce evenly over it. Sprinkle the spinach and the cheese over the sauce to taste.
